Olivia Lomata-Chou
Founder
Olivia is an MPHL graduate of literary translation and a former Miss Congo Ireland in 2009. She has dedicated her time to working with children and families in need through Life skills and has been deeply moved by a child’s dream for a brighter future. This experience has fueled her passion for educational development, specifically in the lives of young children. Her travels to the Democratic Republic of Congo have opened her eyes to the beauty of the continent and the resilience of its people.
Despite facing numerous challenges, the children of the DRC continue to have faith and find happiness in their lives. This has inspired Olivia to believe that age should not limit one’s dreams and that together, they can achieve greatness. She has made it her mission to guide these children towards fulfilling their dreams and reaching their full potential despite their circumstances. As she always says, “These are our children, and they will be greater than they are.”
Olivia’s determination to make a difference in the lives of these young children and their families serves as a reminder that with determination and support, anything is possible.
Marlyne K. Olabiyi

Meet Marlyne, a dedicated advocate for education and community empowerment. Her journey with Educate Congo Ireland began with a profound sense of compassion and a deep-rooted desire to make a difference.
A Strategic Management and Supply Chain MSc graduate from Congo DRC, Marlyne’s heart has always been intertwined with the mission of transforming lives through education. Her eye-opening visit to Congo in 2014 illuminated the disparity in educational opportunities for underprivileged children, igniting a spark within her. This experience fueled her commitment to founding Educate Congo Ireland with Olivia, as the shared a vision of a brighter future for the children of Congo DRC and the Congolese community in Ireland.
While her Marlyne’s professional path led her through some of the largest financial institutions and Tech companies, Marlyne’s true fulfilment lies in the meaningful work of Educate Congo. Her expertise in operational excellence and compliance operations blends with her compassionate dedication to creating positive change.
Marlyne’s involvement extends far beyond her professional accolades. She passionately fosters leadership qualities in young adults, cultivating a sense of purpose and mentoring initiatives.
